BankCodeKit publishes country pages only when the country format, example/test value, SEPA context, source labels, and limitation text are complete. Additional countries are added to public coverage only after their examples, source notes, and review dates are ready.

Publication Rule
BankCodeKit keeps public tables, country URLs, and the sitemap limited to countries with complete reviewed data. A country is added only after its IBAN length, BBAN summary, example/test IBAN, source notes, SEPA context, and review date are complete.
Publication checklist
Publication requires a supported country code and total IBAN length, a documented BBAN breakdown, a clearly labeled synthetic example, and country-specific guidance on reading the fields and avoiding common entry mistakes. The page must also identify the references used, display a completed review date, explain SEPA context where relevant, and retain the format-checking boundary beside the example.
The finished route is checked for a self-referencing canonical, inclusion in site navigation or related links, and inclusion in the sitemap. Publishing a row in the table without its complete country page would not meet this rule.
Review cadence
Shared IBAN and SEPA references follow a quarterly review cadence and are checked sooner when Swift, the European Payments Council, ISO, or a cited national payment authority publishes a relevant change. A country page keeps its own last-reviewed date so readers can distinguish the page review from the issue date of an underlying source.
How unpublished countries are handled
A country that has not completed the checklist is not published as a public country guide, is not added to this table, and is not submitted in the sitemap as finished coverage. BankCodeKit does not create an unfinished public route or a page that merely changes the country name. Internal research can continue without representing that country as supported on the public site.
Corrections and source changes
When a published structure or cited reference needs correction, the affected page is reviewed against the relevant source and its review date is updated after the change is confirmed. A correction to format data does not turn the page into an account lookup: examples remain synthetic and tool results remain limited to visible structure and locally available reference rules.
What Coverage Does Not Mean
A supported country page means BankCodeKit can explain local IBAN format data from source-backed reference material. It does not mean BankCodeKit can confirm a specific account, recipient, bank route, sanctions status, payment readiness, or payment success.
