Permitted practical use
BankCodeKit tools can help review visible format, length, checksum, country, BIC/SWIFT structure, SEPA country status, and readable payment detail formatting. The tools are for informational and educational use.
You may use the public tools to examine values you are authorized to handle, compare published country structures, and prepare clearly labeled test data. A displayed result must be read together with the limitations and source-review date shown on the relevant page.
No Payment Processing
No account or transaction service
BankCodeKit does not initiate payments, move money, connect to bank accounts, store payment accounts, check balances, or confirm account existence, account ownership, payment readiness, or transaction success.
The site does not create a banking relationship, receive funds, hold balances, route instructions, or act for a payer or payee. A format result is not authorization, acceptance, advice to transfer, or a representation from any financial institution.
User Responsibility
Your verification duty
You are responsible for verifying real payment details with your bank, payment provider, invoice issuer, or recipient before sending money. BankCodeKit checks format and reference data only. It does not confirm account existence, account ownership, bank connectivity, sanctions status, fraud risk, payment readiness, or payment success.
Check the complete instruction through a trusted channel, especially when beneficiary details have changed or arrived by email. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, copy, download, or use and for following the requirements that apply to your payment.

Responsible handling of examples and results
Use clearly labeled test values when possible. Avoid entering or sharing sensitive financial information unless it is necessary for your own local check, and do not send sensitive payment details by email.
Do not present a synthetic value as a real account, use the site to mislead another person, or rely on an old copied result after the underlying instruction has changed. Keep exported CSV files and copied payment details under the same controls you would apply to the original information.
